Day 3 03.29.18
I had few intentions for this day. Richard and Sabian were off to Teotihuacan, so I thought I’d use the day to explore some CDMX Street Art. After a long winded morning, I eventually started my day off with some Green Chilaquiles y Cafe de Olla at some seemingly random spot in Condesa. I was looking for Comunal–but apparently it closed down. Correction: It is still open.

After breakfast I casually strolled the streets of Roma, including the Plaza Luis Cabrera, to check out some street art. After about an hour in Roma, I ubered to the Colonia Doctores to visit the slightly obscure, wacky, and yet strangely delightful Museo de Juguete Mexico (MUJAM) to check out some old toys, and more street art.
CDMX STREET ART
The following three pieces were found in and around the Plaza Luis Cabrera in Roma:
The following were found near the MUJAM–or in its parking lot! 🙂
The following nine pieces were all found inside the MUJAM:
The following pieces are all located on the rooftop terrace of the MUJAM:

And I discovered a few more spectacular pieces of street art a few blocks away from the MUJAM:
After my CDMX Street Art experience, I recharged at the Mercado Roma with a Jugo, two beers, and a tasty Paleta de Fresa y Herbabuena.

I love street art and I love CdMx! Maybe I’ll go back for a quick trip next winter with my credit card miles… I’ve spent two weeks there, but there’s always more to see and do!

Definitely! You can spend a year there and still not experience it all.
