Atlanta has experienced a burst of new developments and redevelopments–especially along the Beltline–a repurposed railway that circles the city core and is now a series of trails and pathways lined with restaurants, hew housing, and other commercial developments. One of Atlanta’s larger redevelopments is the Ponce City Market–the area’s largest adaptive reuse of an older structure. It was originally a Sears, Roebuck & Company building that dates to the mid-late 1800s. Today, the Ponce City Market houses high end shoppes and a slew of eateries in it’s impressive Food Hall.
If you’re visiting Atlanta, the Ponce City Market is a great destination for some shopping, drinks and food.

I started my Ponce experience with a bit of shopping and then a refreshing cocktail, or two.
After two cocktails, it was time for some dinner. After perusing all the food options, I decided I was in the mood for a juicy burger. I opted for the original H & F Burger with a Cox Family Farms Double beef patty, b&b pickles, shaved red onion, kraft American cheese, as well as an order of Shaved Crisp Onions. Boy did I make the right choice. The burger was heavenly.

Finally, to walk off that burger, I took a short stroll down the Beltline.
